Achter mij wordt de deur geopend. “Als je normaal doet kun je weer naar beneden komen”, zegt mijn moeder. “Ik ga springen!” Aansteller, hoor ik haar denken. Ze sluit de deur beheerst. Natuurlijk ga ik niet springen. Ik wil nog niet dood. Niet echt, tenminste. Toch vind.

6. Nov 05,  · Met een doffe klap viel het zand op de kist. Nog een schep en nog één. En na iedere schep bonkte mijn hart met net zo’n doffe klap. Afgelopen dinsdag was haar begrafenis. De kist met haar oude, broze lichaam zakte naar beneden en toen het zand op haar kist geschept werd door haar familie,.

7. Apr 02,  · Dat is waar, maar dat wij het proberen is heel goed. En nu je dit filmpje hebt gezien ga je misschien ook wel beter nadenken over hoe je je leven invult. Want nu je er bij stil staat hoe kort het leven eigenlijk wel niet is, moet je het goed invullen. Net als wat Paulus zei: ”Ik streef er naar om God te ontmoeten”, zo moeten wij ook denken.

8. Al die nummers en veel van de top 20 gaan over sterven, doodgaan, hemel en hel. Niet zo gek in de laatste, donkere week van het jaar. Juist dan worden we nostalgisch, kijken we terug, en missen we hen die ons ontvallen zijn. Grote vragen komen dan boven: is er leven na de dood, en waar heeft het leven voor gediend.
